On May 25, 2018, GDPR came into effect – a new regulation on personal data protection covering all EU member states – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter referred to as the “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”). Data Processing – Scope, Basis, and Purpose

Firstly, the basis for processing personal data is the contract concluded with you (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and the fulfillment of the legal obligations incumbent upon the Data Administrator (Art. 6(1)(c) of the GDPR).

Secondly, personal data is processed based on the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).

  • Of using the services provided by the Administrator and the conducted programs, and after their completion, until the expiration of the limitation period (usually 10 years) or other deadlines resulting from legal regulations concerning the provided services;
  • If personal data is processed based on your consent, until its withdrawal.

Am I obligated to provide personal data?

You are not obligated to provide personal data, but failure to do so will result in the Administrator being unable to fulfill the contract.
